It’s Halloween in two days. We are ready.
I’ve spent this week wondering about a lot of things I don’t understand. Useless in real life things, and yet they could all potentially come in handy when I play my next game of Trivial Pursuit. For example, I now know what a murmuration is. I can tell you anything you want to know about all the Roseanne Halloween specials. I also know that “ready Freddy” is in reference to Freddy Mercury. Yay Freddy.
Jane was in bed with me this morning and calmly said, “Hey, look at that spider.” I glanced over and there was a spider about six inches from her face. And they were just eyeing each other calmly. If this isn’t irrefutable proof that people can rise above their gene pool, I don’t know what is.
I’m on the road with my special someone, first in New York and then north to Canada.
It works, what we have together.
It works really well.
Now I’m off to eat maple syrup and cheese. Although not together. Although you have to admit, in the right situation that might work. But I won’t. Because I can be classy when I really want to.
