The Christmas build-up. Wowzers…
With all the great highs come the big lows, complete with floor flailing and “I can’t do this” moments. And by “I can’t do this” she means “I can’t stand, nor can I clean, and don’t look at me.”
But we’ve also watched a lot of movies while wearing pajamas. We’ve snuggled. She’s played.
She also went with me to get my hair cut, where she insisted on aiding in the hair washing process. She also patted my shoulder and said, “You’re doing great.”
We’ve eaten cupcakes. Lots of cupcakes.
We picked Fayez up from the airport and he gave her an early present.
She named her new pet Flotsam.
Santa’s got this work cut out for him to top that fish gift.
So, Merry Christmas to all of you.
May your day be merry and bright, with very little floor flailing, and lots of cupcake eating.
Merry Christmas to you too! Flotsam is a great name for a fish. Oh, I treasure those days when Christmas was so exciting I couldn’t sleep. But it’s good now too. Just finished my handmade cards, so it IS good 🙂

Love your blog. I feel like last Christmas I was so organized, but this Christmas just can’t seem to get it together. Can I ask where you got the stand holding all the Barbies on the wall? Currently trying to organize my kiddos toys and that would be perfect. Thank you!
